Lower Level Newark Flooded Structure
The groundwater flowed into this Newark vacant property and deposited a large volume of contaminated water and sludge. Our SERVPRO team understands that this filthy water must be extracted with a trash pump before any restoration can occur. We then tear out the drywall panels that are contaminated and not salvageable. The After Photo illustrates the interior framing exposed for drying. In the background is a remaining LGR low grain refrigerant dehumidifier capturing some of the water vapor in these enclosed rooms. The concrete pad will take several days to dry to standard moisture content.
